For now, My big Brother out shines me. He is competitive, outgoing, and making friends comes so easy for him. He shines at showmanship as he is not afraid to talk to any judge. While I can cowboy up and ride a steer, my knees quake and my voice shakes when being judged. I envy My Brothers ability to shine!
My Brother has competed more than me as I was too young when we started. He has made so many friends in the Poultry world. He never hesitates to call a breeder to ask for advice. My Brother is definitely our spokesperson and I am glad he is on my team!
One time we were getting My White Orpingtons ready for a show. They were not coming out White?! My Brother did not hesitate to call one of the best breeders in the nation just to ask her what SHE uses to get her white birds white! She told My Brother and off to the pet store we went! I would have gone to the State show with yellow chickens if it were not for my Brother. I would have been too scared to ask someone of that stature!
My Brother and I are a great combination. And I hope we can continue to work together for many years to come! I depend on My Brother for so much!
